Our District

Tsuha is a district that treasures tradition. Aside from the Eisa, we have the Shi-shi Lion Dance that has been passed on for approximately 400 years.

Description of Our Performance

Approximately 45 years ago, the Tsuha Eisa was introduced from what is today, Uken in Uruma city. Our Eisa has distinctive ways of striking the drums and in our body-positioning. Also different from other Eisa styles is that we perform our dance non-stop from song to song.
