Kin Town, Kin District Seinenkai

Eisa

Our District

Our home, Kin Town, is located on the east coast near the center of Okinawa. We are known as a ‘Base Town’ due to the U.S. military base which take up about 60% of our town.
Kin is also a town with a distinctive atmosphere as it developed with the mixing of diverse cultures.
It was also the birthplace of Okinawa’s overseas immigration project, making us the launching pad for the Uchinanchu who emigrated from Okinawa to various parts of the world, finding success and prosperity abroad.
Presently, the city continues its advances with the younger generations taking the initiative in creating a town rich with performance art.

Our Group

Our group consists of 30 men and 20 women all between the ages of 16 to 26. We are a happy and vibrant group, always supportive of each other in our activities.
Every one of the members actively participates in various events and volunteer work in our area, bringing vitality to the town that we all love.

Description of Our Performance

We will be performing 10 various pieces at the Festival.

Our Aspirations for this Festival

All of us are dedicated in our practices and rehearsals, and this year, we were selected to perform our art in the Orion Beer commercial, which has always been our wish.
We hope to show the audience the fruit of our efforts that we have worked very hard to perfect. With the Seinen Furusato Eisa Festival being held at the newly constructed Cellular Stadium, we hope to hit a grand-slam in inspiring our audience.
